Animal Crossing Ping Pong Rally - Animation Study

Table Tennis Rally — Animal Crossing Animation Study

This project explores high-speed motion, character interaction, and camera staging using motion-captured animation retargeted to stylized characters.
Base body motion was generated using QuickMagicAI, then retargeted to Animal Crossing character rigs using Blender and Auto-Rig Pro. Scene layout, lighting, camera work, and ball animation were created and animated manually in Blender.
The ping pong ball trajectory was fully keyframed to match the action using curve-based animation and manual adjustments for timing and height.
This was my first multi-character animation project and took approximately two weeks to complete, including learning workflow, lighting, rendering, and scene organization.
